The warm and cozy grains of Walnut and Oak, paired with the striking red color of Padauk make this one of the most table-friendly boards in our shop. Not quite rustic or shabby chic, these boards are built following the natural line of the wood, giving it an elevated look that is timeless. All boards are sanded to a satin-smooth finish and given a relaxing (it looks relaxing to us!) mineral oil bath, wax, and buff before leaving our wood studio.
Slight variations in wood grain and color make every board different. If there's a particular detail about a board that captures your heart (a particular way a line curves or the way a board goes from a light to dark), please reach out and let us know. We'll do our best to make sure you get a board with your favorite details.

Each of Heirloom Evolution's boards are sanded to a satin-smooth finish and given a lengthy mineral oil bath, wax, and buff before leaving our studio. A 2 oz. bottle of Howard's Butcher Block Conditioner is included with every purchase.
We use only FDA approved food-grade mineral oils & waxes on our kitchen products to ensure they are safe for food preparation and presentation upon arrival to your home.
To keep your boards clean and well maintained, simply hand wash your board with soap and water, then allow to dry before storing. Do not put them in your dishwasher: prolonged exposure to heat and humidity will damage your board over time. We recommend using Howard Butch Block Conditioner once every three months to keep your board in excellent condition.
