It's Fall About Cutting Boards

There’s no use denying it: summer is officially over. Fall is here and the holidays are just around the corner.

That doesn’t mean it’s time to go nuts (lots of time for that later!), but it is time for those of us in the woodworking business to bring out our beautiful babies. All new cutting boards made from a wide variety of species – colorful exotics and traditional domestics; sweet charcuterie boards with a bit of size and pizzaz to them; our favorite cheese slicers; and Kevin’s favorite: round pizza boards.

Exotic Wood Cutting Board: Redheart, Purpleheart, Tornillo, and Maple.

While the cutting board has been a food prep staple since the invention of kitchen hygiene, there’s no reason your staple can’t be a stunner. Give us a chance – we’ll make your kitchen countertop a happy place.

Small Exotic Cutting Board: Purpleheart, Tornillo, Bocote, and Walnut.

Most of our boards are at least 1 ¾ inches thick to provide stability and many of them come with juice grooves to catch any drippings before they hit your countertop. We’ve selected some of our favorite hardwoods to durability and exotics for a splash of color on our blended boards. We've also gone out of our to make these easy to pick up and set down.

Small Cheese Slicer: Purpleheart, Tornillo, and Maple.

All of our boards and slicers are conditioned with mineral oil and given a healthy coat of food grade Carnuba wax so it will be satin-smooth and ready to use when it arrives. After that, all you need to do is clean it with a little soap and water and give it an occasional lift with food grade mineral oil and wax conditioner (we've got your covered on that too!).

We've got lots more to say and more to share with you in the coming weeks! In the meantime, enjoy the cooler weather and bright blue skies. Happy Fall!
